High security equals high maintenance! After 2002 most Honda and Acura vehicles switched over to using a high security key for the door locks and ignitions. The problem with this comes in around the 7-10 year mark when many Honda owners have an issue with the key no longer working in the door lock or even worse, the ignition won't turn, leaving the owner stranded and unable to start the vehicle.
